Do you have a “fixed” or a “growth” mindset when it comes to learning? Lifelong learning is now recognized by educators, governing bodies, and employers in all fields as one of the most valuable traits a person can possess. Those with fixed mindsets believe in the limited capacity of their basic abilities and intelligence. Those with growth mindsets believe their true potential is unknowable, and thus persistently develop their innate talents and push their boundaries. So how do we cultivate a growth mindset if it doesn’t come naturally?
